What happens in that part of the story is there’s a powerful sandstorm coming their way, and if they stop, they will die. Here is a quote from Joshua Fitchett (the main character in the novel) “keep walking! Don’t stop, this is not the end of our journey is it?” In the other hands, Joshua Fitchett is telling Billy to keep walking as they haven’t reached their destination yet. In the book, he explained this in multiple ways. he is saying that perseverance is how you survive. Walter first main message that he tries to get through his novel is that your level of success is determined by your level of discipline and perseverance. The authors used argument such as perseverance is determined by your level of success, survival does not stand on hope, identity, and choices, to prove his point He also uses examples and comparisons to get his argument through. in other words, he truly believes that everyone that has the will to keep moving forward in life can accomplish anything. Eric Walter, in the novel “Regenesis,” expresses his belief that perseverance and power of will can outcome death. As you travel, you hope to find a place that can help your case, but as you keep going, you’re currently put in a hard situation that is most of the time deadly.
